Puffy Present

I feel most excited before opening a gift. The lamp was designed with that overwhelming emotion as a motive. When I received a gift as a child,
I imagined what was inside the gift.I had an experience where my imagination grew bigger and turned into joy. When I actually opened the gift, I was either happy or disappointed depending on the contents of the gift. In the end, the happiest moment was before I opened the gift. 'Puffy present' symbolizes a box full of expectations. Also, the puffy appearance of the lights resembles puffy clouds.
나는 선물을 열기 전 가장 설렘을 느낀다. 그 벅차는 감정을 모티브로 조명을 디자인하였다. 어릴적 선물을 받았을 때 선물 속 내용물을 상상하고 그
상상이 점점 커져 기쁨으로 바뀌는 경험을 하였다. 정작 선물을 개봉하였을 때는 선물의 내용에 따라 기쁘거나 실망하게 되었다. 결국 가장 행복한 순간은 선물을 열기 전이었다. 'puffy present'는 기대감으로 가득 찬 상자를 상징한다. 또한 조명이 부푼 모습이 뭉게구름과 비슷하다.
